A philanthropic gift that goes back into the community for perpetuity.
Sustaining The Daylesford Foundation’s Mission and Vision through a Perpetual Trust, names as The Forever Fund established in 2026 with Australian Communities Foundation.
The Story of the Forever Fund
We’ve set an ambitious goal to ensure The Daylesford Foundation will continue to support Hepburn Shire children and their families to achieve their education goals and thrive in our local community.
After eight years running the Daylesford Foundation, and investing over $1.2 million into the Hepburn Shire, Co-Founders Norma and Jim Foster are now preparing the local charity for a life without their continual input.

In 2024 Norma and Jim established The Daylesford Foundation Perpetual Trust to build capital funds to ensure the foundation will have a corpus fund base to draw on, thus providing long-term sustainability and a continuous source of income each year.
Currently, the corpus is $1.9 million. So, we have the (large) challenge to reach our target of $5 million by 2030, noting that $5 million would provide an income of $300,000 to the foundation per year.
Your philanthropic donation will help us reach this target and ensure the foundation’s future in our community.

“Thank you for your invaluable support [through the Schools program]. Our school’s utilisation of your generous funding meant we were able to implement a variety of support including the ‘Sniff’ dog therapy program which was aimed at re-engaging students and supporting students with mental health challenges.”
