The Daylesford Foundation board is dynamic, multifaceted and entirely volunteer, bringing experience from health and community services, architecture, marketing, logistics and hospitality to every decision we make.
Jane Westney, Chair
Jane Westney joined the board in 2024 and brings her skills from her background in marketing & innovation spanning across the food and packaging industries.
This included a mix of corporate multinationals and local Australian-owned businesses.
Norma Foster, Deputy Chair
Norma Foster along with Jim Foster started The Daylesford Foundation in 2018.
Before her retirement some 18 years ago and subsequently moving to Daylesford, Norma spent decades owning & running a restaurant, coffee shops & travel agencies.
Jim Foster, Secretary
Jim Foster along with Norma Foster started The Daylesford Foundation in 2018.
Before his retirement the year prior, Jim spent 40 years working in the recycling industry, both founding & selling companies, before going on to work in logistics for a further 10 years.
Trevor Shard, Treasurer
Trevor Shard joined the Board as Treasurer in October 2026.
A Chartered Secretary and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, Trevor brings deep experience in governance and community finance. He is a Director of Homeward Housing and Finance Director at Hepburn Community Radio, and was previously finance manager at the Human Rights Arts & Film Festival. Trevor has been Treasurer of Folk Victoria since 2012 and is a singer-songwriter in his own right.
Cheryl De Zilwa
Cheryl De Zilwa has been a leader in the community, health & non-profit sectors.
Cheryl’s previous roles include CEO and National Director of various community based organisations focused on Child and Family, Health Promotion, Aged Care and Disability sectors. Cheryl has also served on various community-based Boards and has been on the Board of The Daylesford Foundation since 2018.
Natalie Delaney-John
Natalie Delaney-John joined the Board in 2024. An entrepreneur and business leader
specialising in strategy, innovation, and community-led venture
execution across regional Victoria.
