Hayley Smith completed Year 12 at Daylesford College and was always keen on a nursing career for her future. Enrolling at Federation University in Ballarat meant she could stay home with her family in Ballan and travel each day for her studies. The Daylesford Foundation has been supporting Hayley with her textbooks and uniform purchases and she has now completed her Diploma in Nursing.
Hayley has now switched her course to Bachelor of Nursing and is looking forward to becoming a registered nurse and hoping to work in one of the larger hospitals in Ballarat, and would love to work in Orthopaedics. It seems Hayley has a ‘thing’ for hips and knees!
The Daylesford Foundation is continuing to support Hayley as she furthers her studies to become a Registered Nurse. Congratulations on achieving your Diploma, Hayley!
